In the first module of the perfect STEM Course we will move fast, but not deep. We would explore a number of different areas of technical science like electronics, Linux, programming, mobile technologies, AI without getting into too many details. The goal is for us to arrive at a working Remote Control car controlled from the phone and to learn basic concepts on which we could extend.
Във видеото можете да видите как да свържете правилно и надеждно брика с двигателите.
In this episode we are showing the great similiarity between the sensors in NXT Mindstorms. We are solving a common problem - How to make a robot that do not fall from the table. We are using the Ultrasonic sensor, Light Sensor and Touch Sensor to solve the same problem, but with three different sensors.
What is the end result? - have the attached on the mission model. What is the mechanism the would make the robot hang on the mission model.
This is a course for beginners, but the tasks would be interesting and for more intermediate students. We do not expect any previous knowledge from you except for how to divide numbers and use a computer.
It is a hardware/software related course. You need a set with parts. And you need a number of sets for a class of students. You can buy the set from us, from other vendors, from online retailers. It doesn`t matter actually as long as you have the needed parts for the course. We have tried to create a very lean set, but if you can afford to buy additional parts you could create more complex and probably more interesting devices.
Learn how to set up LDD and Ldraw on your Windows computer. Get one step closer to building your first 3D LEGO Model.
One of the simplest tricks in the game - move, complete the mission and leave the attachment with the mission model. You don't have to return the attachment to the base. On some competitions there might be penalties, but it might be worth it, as you save time to complete another mission. This works especially well with large attachments.. The attachment uses Luly, a small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions as a robot base.
The course is designed for classes of students, but it could also be used personally. Each module should take you about 20 minutes and depending on how long your student hours are and how much time you will leave the students to experiment and solve tasks you could include different numbers of modules in your class.
This video tutorial shows how the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Ninja Motorcycle robot works. It's a nice demonstration with the robot moving forward, backward, and slightly to the left and right.
If you look at the properties of the move block and the motor block LEGO Mindstorms NXT, you will see that they have much in common. Still they have several differences. You should be aware of these differences in order to choose the appropriate block for your needs.
After you download the SPIKE programming software, to load a program to your robot, you need to connect to your hub! Now lets learn how you can do that!
Devi is a stubborn robot. No mater how many times you press the button, it will press the button last. It if you press again, it will press again. Sometimes it will rotate and speak, but will again press the button, and will continue pressing until the end of times.
The course is very suitable for students and you don't have to buy a new set for each student. You can group them, divide them, organize the use of the sets and you could technically work with 70-80 student with only 6 sets.
Use any blocks that you wish to solve the following task.
Here is the task for adding a beam on both sides of every gear wheel in your attachment.
Arduino programs are developed with a software and this software is downloaded from the http://arduino.cc site.
Experiment with changing the orientation and direction of gear wheels. Here are part of the tasks that you should complete before moving forward with the course.
Robotics Game of Life – that’s the name of our new scientific journey. We are organizing a 14-sessions course (1 session weekly). The idea of the course is to develop a solution to the Conway Game of Life where the robots would actually play the game. Students will construct the robots by instructions and lots of imagination. Initial programs will be provided by us and modified by students.
Level 1 from "FLLCasts Certified VEX IQ Robot Driver - Class R1" certification path is to start on the border of the field, move through to the last obstacle, turn and return back to the border of the field.
So far we know how to make a turn in an arc, just like the real cars do.
Today we will see what other options our robots have for turning.
This tutorial demonstrates how a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot could stop when it reaches a wall. FIRST LEGO League competitions are held on tables that have border and it is sometimes useful to use the Ultrasonic sensor to detect the border and stop close to the border. The attachment uses Luly, a small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions as a robot base.
This is a remote control car. Have fun with it before disassembling it.
