Often students are not very careful about the cables of the robot and they are causing them trouble.

Long cables stick out at the back

When the port and the motor are near each other, the cable makes one turn only and sticks out at the back of the robot.

Solution
Twist the cable so that it looks like a spiral. Then the force of the spring will keep it in the suitable position.

Wrong direction of twisting the cable

Cables tend to twist naturally and cable jacks have and upward and downward direction.
If you do not comply with these, the cable will bend and will either fall over tires or drag on the floor.

If you observe the direction of the cable, it will naturally bend over the robot.

Hold the cables by using an additional part

You can always use additional part which guide cables.

You can lead cables through cavities in the robot’s construction but only when robots are larger.
