Levels and Modules
Each Level is 7 classes. Each Module is two levels and is 14 classes.
8-10 years old. LEGO Mindstorms EV3
Classes for students starting in 2nd or 3rd grade have a base duration of 120 minutes. Each pair of levels comprise a module and cover one semester. A grand total of 56+ classes for two years of classroom materials.
Introduction to robotics. Learn how to move the robot around in various ways. Getting to know the first of the sensors. The robot can feel its surroundings with the help of the Touch sensor.
Learn how to create your own robots, that transport cargo around and unload it on their own. Get to know how the Ultrasonic sensor can help the robot avoid obstacles.
Learn to create special robots, that are modular or using threads. Your rescue-robots can execute parallel actions and use the Gyro sensor to navigate in a city-like environment.
Learn how to build complex object manipulation mechanisms for your robots. Robots are now equipped with grabbers in order to work with objects on a competition field.
Learn how the Color sensor works. Enter the field of conditional programming. Your robots can do different behaviours, after checking their surroundings.
Learn how to build complex mechanisms using gears. Your robots can become fast speed cars or heavy lifting cranes. Introduction of a sumo competition.
Build complex robots and create complex programs for your robot to navigate in a maze and to score in robotic soccer challenge.
Put everything together. Build complex robots and create complex programs for your robot to sort colored balls.
11-12 years old. Advanced LEGO
Classes for students starting in 4,5,6th and higher grades have a base duration of 180 minutes. Each pair of levels comprises a module and covers one semester. A grand total of 28 classes for a full year of classroom materials.
Learn how to move the robot in various ways. The robot can feel its surroundings with the help of the Touch sensor. Get to know how the Ultrasonic sensor can help the robot avoid obstacles while transporting cargo.
Learn how to create specialized robots. Your rescue-robots can execute parallel actions and use the Gyro sensor to navigate. Robots are equipped with grabbers in order to work with objects on a competition field.
Learn how the Color sensor works. Your robots can do different behaviours, after checking specific conditions. Robots can become fast speed cars or heavy lifting cranes by the means of gear-trains.
Learn about different competitions. Build complex robots and create complex programs for your robot to navigate in a maze and to score in robotic soccer. Step on the ring of a Sumo competition!
Learn how to build robotic animals. Your robots are now programmed in real computer language - Python. You learn how to organize robot behaviours in functions.
Build advanced robotic animals used to teach mechanical concepts about moving with legs. Learn more complex Python syntax and start using AI libraries to solve challenges.
Introduciton to variables with Python. Your LEGO Mindstorms robots get smarter and can remember readings about their surroundings.
Variables and user input for your robots. Your programs become flexible and can solve more than one problem per program. More tools from many AI libraries are available now.
13-18 years old. The Perfect STEM course. Robotics with Raspberry Pi, IoT, Electronics, AI
Classes for students starting after 5th grade that have a base duration of 120 minutes. You would have learned about connecting electronic elements to bring a robot to live, developing smart programs for the robot, and apps for a mobile phone. Learn about Programming with the Python programming language, Electronics, Mobile Applications, Internet of Things and take first steps in Artificial Intelligence.
P1. Smart Car
Take an already constructed Remote Control toy car, replace its electronic with a small computer and start controlling it from your mobile phone and programming it from your computer. Don't just buy the cars, build them.
P2. Hardware games
Students like gaming. But instead of a browser game, here we are developing a smart hardware game.
