Go to the missions model. Do the missions. You can then continue to the next mission or wait a few seconds at this FIRST LEGO League 2015 Trash Trek mission model and receive a few more points. Fot the next mission from the First Lego League 2015 Trash trek competition we'll stop at this Composting. It's the name of the mission. And we have a very interesting attachment. And what's interesting is that it accomplishes the misson but it also separates itself into two. And that's interesting for this attachment. Let's see how it works.

The way this attachment works is the following. We have the attachment and we have this gear wheel right here. And we take our robot with the motor and we add this as an attachment. As you might remember from the previous videos our robot has a motor on the right and you can add different gears to this gear wheel here. And now you can control it. So, we can control this whole attachment from the robot. So, we just place it right here on the gear wheel. And then we can do something with it. The next thing is that we have this attachment in two parts. These parts separate from the main part of the attachment. This one here is attached to the robot. And this one stays with the mission model. The way we do this is the following. We move with our attachment. It's attached to the robot and we move with it. And then when we reach the mission model we just push on the mission model. And what will happen is that when we push this lever here will move up and it will release the part of the attachment that's detachable. Let's push it and now something happens here with the mission model. This brown part falls. And we can now move back with the whole attachment. And we can do stuff with the robot and when we decide we can return back and collect our brown part which should be here. And that is interesting for the attachment. Let's see it again. It's a little bit complex for an attachment but it's interesting. Let's see how it works. We have two levers here. The first lever this one is holding the detachable part and the second lever here is attached with a rubber band so that when we push on this beam this will push these axles back and this will move the whole lever and rotate it. Bacause there is a rubber band right here. Let's see how it works. We just push here and we release the lever. Again, we load like this,

and then we move and we just push and we release. And then we have this part of the attachment detached. And we can do things with this. And we use this for the mission model because when we push on the mission model this brown part falls and we collect it with this detachable part. And then we can return back to base and do stuff with it. The whole mission model is very interesting because when it is loaded and when we push on this yellow element here it takes some time for the brown element to fall. So, it's a decision for the strategy of the team whether they'll do something with the robot in this time. It might take 5, 10, 15 seconds so it takes some time. So, it you have solved if you have accomplished this mission in any oher way just drop us an email or leave a comment below with a picture or a video. And we can even stop on your video and describe your solution.
