This is a robot attachment that could be used to lift object. The gear ratio of this attachment is allows it to lift Heavy objects. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and could be used in competitions in robotics like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad. The goal of the attachment is to demonstrate the principle and example of an attachment for heavy lifting that could be placed on the robot. With this LEGO Education SPIKE Prime attachment we accomplish the basketball mission from the FIRST LEGO League 2020 RePlay competition. The goal of the mission is to put the ball into the basket and to have the basket up at the end of the round. This is a complex attachment. It uses gear wheels and warm gears to transfer the power from the motor to the top of the attachment. At the top of the attachment there is a wheel with a rope. The rope is build with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts. If you have the chance, use a different LEGO rope, but if you don't that this one will be ok.

This is the robot that we use to demonstrate a solution for competition. This is a Post season solution. We never release any solutions during the season as this will have a negative impact on the competition. But after the competition we try to make a review and to see how we could have accomplish it. Our goal is to be better for next year.

This robot is designed to easily lift a cup while still holding it upright. With its motor attached to the side of the hub, the robot can lift the cup to any angle you want. You could replace the LEGO cup and make it lift real cups with a few adjustments. Be careful around liquids though, the robot doesn't like beverages like you do!
