In this third video we show some of the tricks in building this Multi-axles mechanism. Things you could learn from an use in your next constructions.
Given the large number of gear wheels and axles in each EV3 and NXT sets there are many possibilities for building gear mechanisms. We are developing something like a gear box that has different axles that could all turn in different directions.
We are describing the Warm gear in this video. This worm gear does most of the magic of controlling how the different gear wheels move on the different axles.
Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Multi-axles mechanism
This LEGO attachment connects a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Motor with a LEGO Technic Linear Actuator. The connection is through a couple of gears which makes the whole instructions quite interesting and useful as an example.
The attachment was used during FIRST LEGO League 2014 Robotics competition.
Building instructions for a Robot Grabber used in the World Robotics Olympiad competition runs. The grabber is build with LEGO Mindstorms EV3. The base of the robot is available at /materials/69-wro-robot-2014-elementary
This is the third version of the LEGO Mindstorms Grabber. This time we use a LEGO EV3 Medium motor and worm gear to make the two levers move smoothly and symmetrically.
Building instructions for the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robot used for accomplishing WRO 2014 mission. It is the full robot with the lift at the top
Building instructions for a robot for the World Robotics Olympiad Sputnik competition. This is the light version without the lift at the top.
Building instructions for the LEGO Mindstorms robot attachment used at the FIRST LEGO League Natures Fury Competition. This robot attachment takes two of the building and moves them without demolishing them. It is a good example of the use of gear wheels and worm gear. The gear wheels move levers in opposite directions.
Kiril Mitov's most favourite attachment. To quote him "I had a really great fun building this attachment and recording the videos for it".
It's an attachment with a Rubber band and a Flywheel and a Gear Wheel and a Worm Gear. So much knowledge in just one small attachment. The goal of the attachment is to be able to have an active attachment without actually having a motor. So you can place that attachment and it will do the work for you instead of using a motor to power it.
Build with LEGO Mindstorms EV3 set.

Placing the white rubber band is shown at https://www.fllcasts.com/tutorials/105-rubber-band-attachment-with-a-flywheel-solving-fll-2014-search-engine-part-2 at around 05:40.

In this video tutorial we accomplish the basketball mission from the FIRST LEGO League 2020 reply competition. We use the LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot called Gazon. You will learn the principles of accomplishing a mission of two parts - put the ball in the basket and lift the basket.
In this video tutorial we accomplish the Basketball mission 10 out of 10 times. We use one of the more complex attachments for the FIRST LEGO League 2020 RePlay competition. You will see an learn how to successfully and consistently complete a mission that requires the robot to put a ball into a basket and lift the basket, or lift the basket and put the ball into it.
