So I used a couple of your Robot a Day lessons with a group of kids at my summer camp... even though not all of them were 100% ready with programming samples. Other kids chose to build from the Lego website. Your robot building instructions were much easier for the kids to complete than Lego website ones, and got them driving much sooner. Then I challenged them to test and modify the robot to find ways to improve it. The students were mostly entering 4th and 5th grade. They really enjoyed the different choices for robots to build. The designs were simple enough for them to assemble in one session and then they were easy to modify. Thank you and I look forward to you continuing to offer more lessons where kids can learn basic engineering principles.

Hi Aleks, I am almost done with my booth camp. Just yesterday I got my OCA certificate with a 90%score. I have 3 more months to go learn Selenium, SQL and API. Then I will become a software engineer:) this wouldn't happen without you. Your support and encouragement. You are my first coding teacher :) thanks for everything you did!

THANK you so much! This will make my team very happy! Your version is so much better than the Lego version. Your site is so beneficial to younger students because they can manipulate the model!!

TWL, May 2019

I did spend time studying your material and applied many of your design techniques during the 2018/19 Into Orbit season. In particular, the sections on shell attachments and use of elastic band were extremely useful and helped us a lot!

I want to take a personal break as a coach managing 7 kids after 3 tiring FLL reasons and hence decided to cancel my subscription. I may possibly return to FLL in the future and will look at subscribing FLLCasts again.

Great video! Very helpful for me, as I am searching informations to design my first Lego Technic instruction. With your video I got a very good overwiev which programs to use. Thank you for your time making this video!

Dani, February 2019

I found it very interesting and instructive. You do a fabulous job, continue like this.

I do not need the services for work reasons, but until now I have obtained an enormous performance.

Thank you very much for your effort and work

The best part was the teachers' part where you teach me how to teach students those new concepts. One does not get that every day.

Bill, September 2018

We were impressed with the whole build, but the access panel above the non-drive wheels that allows you to charge without much dis-assembly was a particular favourite.

Mike, August 2017

I canceled my subscription ONLY because my team aged out this year. They are high schooler now and starting FRC. Your videos helped them a lot though, really helped them to think about how the code works.

Thanks and all the best!

The site contains a wealth of information for all levels of teams – beginner to advanced. I found myself going back constantly to watch and learn. All the videos are very well made, and extremely detailed.

Totally loved the 3-D build instructions as well. They made it very easy to figure out exactly how things were made. The only challenge is that it sometimes takes a lot of digging to find stuff. I would recommend enhancing the search functionality and grouping things systematically. – Anu J

Yes, fllcasts was helpful. I've moved on and am now coaching at the FRC level. I've recommended your site to the coaches who are taking over the FLL team that I coached for the last few years.

Hi Kiril,

Me and my child have learnt a lot from FLLCasts. It was our Goto resource for several issues we had last year. Thank you and keep the great lessons coming. I am no more a coach and hence will not be using this subscription.

I’ve enjoyed your videos and very helpful information over the last 18 months (approx). My students have benefitted greatly from the expert suggestions and guidance (not to mention numerous plans and resources). I am now moving to another position and will not be in a role that requires access.

Again, thank you again for your excellent support and good luck in all you endeavours in the future.

Please take a look at the video. My son, 10, program it.

He laughed so hard when he saw the results that one program block finished two missions. He said that is the simplest program he ever made. So we learned the lesson that if the attachment is advanced, the program could be really really really simple.

BTW, instructions of the box robot and attachments have some minor mistakes.

Thank you!

I was told about this website by another team and they used it so well that eventually after learning all the ins and outs at FLL level they are now an FTC team.

My team also benefited from the videos and I will be definitely pushing it to the new teams. Though I haven’t used it in the recent few months, the one thing that could improve is the search function. We had been trying to learn gears and it took a few tries to find the right video.

Overall it’s a great resource and I hope you will continue to see more and more people use it. Thanks so much!!

My son aged out of the program and I'm not coaching anymore. Thank you for the past few years!

His team did very well!

As a complete novice who had been asked to help a group of girl guides compete in a tomorrows engineers ev3 competition in partnership with the Royal Air Force celebrating 100 years. I was recommended to look at the website for advice and had come across numerous intro videos on YouTube, initially I was a little sceptical at the sheer volume and detail included on the website but quickly realised how structured the content was so opted for plan a, a monthly subscription which allowed access to most of the sites functionality.

I guided the girls thru the preliminary stages and into the final at Birmingham Big Bang coming a very creditable 22 out of 44/teams, most of which comprised dedicated stem teachers and students 15 and 16 years old.

I have subsequently opted for a yearly subscription to allow me to help the girls progress to the fll league and develop further building and programming skills as this allows access to more structured courses which can be easily adapted to suit the needs of my team who are younger girls.

Many people have commented that it can at times be difficult to understand the commentators, I have not found 5his a problem and subtitles available to clarify. A short mention for Kiril on the tawk helpline who was courteous and efficient quickly resolving my enquiry.

Diane Maltby, December 2017

For years, I searched for some advanced training in programming EV3 robots. I looked all across the United States and could never find anything except training for beginner users. I thought I would just try and teach myself, but you know how that goes, it was really difficult to make the time and put in the effort. When I did give it a try, without any support I just became frustrated and confused.

I was so excited to receive an email from the folks that put together FLL casts and learn that they were offering an online advanced EV3 robotics training course. I found it a bit ironic that the class I had been looking for was coming from the other side of the world and was very grateful that Aleks was willing to get up in the middle of the night to teach the class.

The class was everything I had hoped for and more. It was challenging and demanding and pushed me beyond what I thought I could do. Through it all, I felt well-supported. By the end of the Training course, not only had I learned more than I expected, I'd made friends with other EV3 programmers in the states and one from Bulgaria.

Thank-you,
Diane Maltby

- Hello, would you be able to comment on whether your AccurateTurnin block uses 1 or 2 Gyro sensors? Also, it would be great if you could post a video sometime that vies a high level description of this Block. I would like the kids to understand the sw they are using. thanks!

- hi Joe. thanks for the feedback - we are thinking of doing a video tutorial describing it we just need some time

- great. Keep up the great work, it's been an amazing resource for a rookie coach

" - Hello Kiril. I am a software developer. This is my first time doing the FLL and helping students. Your tutorials really helped me get started and brought me up to speed."

Your site is great and we used it a lot last year when preparing for fll. This year, my kids are not interested in participating in fll. They've grown up.

Regarding improvements, it would be good to have different kinds of base robots. Last year, the base was too low to jump over one of the obstacles. So we improvised.

Sriniwas Gedella, September 2017

Your tutorials are great and have been very helpful last year when I was coaching my daughters team for FLL. This year, since I do not have time for coaching, another parent has taken over the coaching responsibilities. I have shared your info.
