Formula One is well known as а spectacular and exciting race. The cars used are specifically designed for it by agreed-upon rules, therefore the Formula in the name. But why would anyone invest so much money at a race? Well, the great thing about Formula One is that the development teams discover so many improvements in technology.
Every year the racers need a better car, with better parameters. Therefore comes a lot of research and development, that is later on brought to the lives of the casual people. Most of the parts in normal cars are first created for such races.

Comet, the Formula One robot
Here is Comet. It is a fast LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Car robot that looks like F1 Racing Car. We've especially designed it to be controlled with the remote control to make it extremelly easy to download the program and start playing with the robot. It also has the option to "press the pedal" (increase the speed) with just the remote control. Check it out.
