This is a 10 out of 10 tutorial, demonstrating the consistency and reliability of the active attachment for switching the engine in this mission. The power is transferred through a system of gear wheels to a lever at the end. We presume that the robot is already positioned.

This is a 10 out 10 tutorial for the switch engine mission from the FIRST LEGO League 2021 Cargo Connect competition. We used our LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot, to accomplish the mission.
Let's start. First run, move forward, activate the attachment, and we switch the engine. That's it. A couple of interesting things for this robot and for the behavior of the robot. First, as we discussed in the previous tutorial, where we discussed the program, there is the first part of the program where we initialize, and the second part where we press the left button in order to start the robot. So check out the previous tutorial to see it. Apart from this, as long as we consistently and reliably and position the robot next to the attachment, the accomplishment of the mission is quite easy. And we have this course for language like prime programming for competition, where you can check for different principles of how we accomplish the challenge to position the robot correctly on the field. Precisely, reliably, consistently. Apart from this, the attachment quite a simple attachment. It's an active attachment with gears that change the orientation of the movement and they transfer power from the motor to this purple LEGO beam at the end. Couple of ways in which this mission could be accomplished. We decided for this simple way. It's straightforward and it works. The whole attachment allows for some error and it's quite reliable. Quite reliable. Hope this is helpful. See you in the next tutorial.

FIRST LEGO League 2021-2022 Cargo Connect solutions and review with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime
In this course, we demonstrate and explain example solutions for the FIRST LEGO League 2021-2022 Cargo Connect competition. Just like every year, we share solutions only after the season is over. In this course, you will find examples and principles of building attachments and will learn how to program consistent and reliable robots for each mission. You can follow the course, and as you go through each mission, try to replicate the solutions to understand the programs and explanations. Upon completion of the course, you will have many new ideas about how to approach the missions in every FLL robotics competition and how to help your team score more points.
Before starting this course, we suggest you go through the FIRST LEGO League robot game guide

M05. Flip a switch - Switch Engine mission
This video tutorial demonstrates an attachment that flips a mission model. The mission model is attached to the field, but it contains a lever. This lever must be flipped from one side to the other. There is a switch. We use a pinless active attachment with gear wheels, and you can see how this works in the tutorial. There is no use of sensors as we don't need them. We will leave the alignment and positioning for some other tutorials.
