LEGO Education SPIKE Prime

Attachment that is detached when accomplishing the mission, from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime, with 3D building instructions
This is an attachment that could be easily detached after a mission is accomplished. It's built with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime parts and it demonstrates an important principle for building attachments for robotics competitions like FIRST LEGO League/World Robotics Olympiad and others. You move with the robot, you complete the mission and you leave the attachment on the field when the mission is completed. In this way you save time when adding the attachment as it is most of the time pinless and takes a fraction of a second to put it. The attachment is designed for Luly, small LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot with 3D building instructions. Check the courses in which this attachment is used for more information and tutorials on how to use it.

FLL 2023: Lever, Precise drop - MiniBox Box Robot accomplishing M04, M05, M14, M15
In this video tutorial, we take a closer look at completing M04, M05, M14, and M15 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge competition. We use the MiniBox, a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime box robot equipped with several attachments. The robot needs to accurately drop the mini-figures and the Masterpiece mission model, then rotate the Augmented Reality Statue to reveal its experience—efficiently and predictably.

FLL 2023: Loop, Press down, Collect - MiniBox Box Robot accomplishing M02, M15
In this video tutorial, the MiniBox box robot is accomplishing M02 and M15 of the FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE Challenge robotics competition. This robot is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot that uses a detachable attachment and rubber band mechanism to achieve its goals.
When the robot presses down the mission model, it activates the detachable attachment which disconnects from the robot and triggers the rubber band mechanism, allowing it to collect the minifigure.
We know this attachment may seem a bit complex, but after a few tries, you'll definitely enjoy working with it!

Line Following with SPIKE Prime 101
When you hear the task “program the robot to follow a black line,” you’ll most likely imagine a program that works like this:
- If the color sensor detects black (meaning the robot is over the line), the robot moves forward.
- If the color sensor detects a different color (meaning the robot is not over the line), the robot turns toward the line.
