Kriket - LEGO Education SPIKE Prime box robot

This is Kriket. Kriket is an example of a Box robot assembled from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime and could be used during a competition like FIRST LEGO League to achieve a smooth, repeatable behaviour of the robot. In fact. This is why it was designed. The goal of Kriket is to be a "Box Robot" and to allow for attachments to be glided on top of it. Check the courses for Kriket to understand more about how it could be used.

The robot requires a few more parts than the standard LEGO Education SPIKE Prime + Extension sets, but it is worth purchasing and having them

FIRST LEGO League 16 classes x 45 minutes prepare guide. Robot and project (in progress)

The goal of this course is to help teachers, mentors and teams with a week by week schedule of how they could approach the FLL season if they have about 16 weeks, each week one class of 45 minutes. This course is complimentary to the already existing structure of Prepare for FIRST LEGO League Robot Game. The complete guide. The course gives an example of a structure based on weeks and classes.

The course also makes a few suggestions about the innovation project and how it could be approached.

Robot game - strategy and mission rules

Review strategy and mission rules.

Learn the tips and tricks that are published and watch the mission for the competition along with some of the tips are tricks. These are the tips and tricks FIRST LEGO League 2023-2024 MASTERPIECE

Choose groups of 2-3 students.

Choose and build a common robot base that all groups will have to use.

Navigate common materials that could be used and watched and researched. For the common materials use the Where to start section on the FIRST LEGO League Robot Game guide.. Based on the experience of the students take a look at the courses and what courses are available.

At the end of the class:

Mission rules are reviewed again and the strategy is discussed.

Groups of 2-3 students per mission are selected. Each group will work on one mission as there are many robots available. Each group has tried to accomplish the mission.

In this course, we demonstrate and explain example solutions for the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 SUPER POWERED competition using the Kriket box robot as a base and building attachments for it. Every year, we share our solutions and our comments only after the season is over. The course is centred around MULTIPLE MISSIONS in a single run which is unique. We see runs with 3, 4 and even 5 missions. Then we enter into details around accomplishing the specific missions. You can follow the course, and as you go through each mission, try to replicate the solutions to understand the programs and explanations. This teaches students and teachers the principles of accomplishing missions in every FLL robotics competition and how to help your team score more points.
