This is the first VEX training ground for building your driving skils. It is the single player mode field because it is designed for a single robot to run on the field.
This is the Little Truckie, but upgraded with an arm so it can teach you to be a good driver with lager number of controls. Now you can drive it and lift things at the same time.
The programs for controlling Truckie are at:
Truckie - Easy To Drive VEX IQ Program for Modkit
Truckie Hard To Drive VEX IQ Program for Modkit
Advanced Truckie - Easy To Drive Advanced VEX IQ Program for Modkit
WatchTower is a pretty self-explanatory robot. It detects intruders by sensing the vibrations they make while walking or digging beneath it. For this purpose, it uses a Gyro sensor, which could be incredibly sensitive under the right circumstances. The Ultrasonic sensor that sits on top of a medium motor starts locating the intruders when the Gyro sensor detects them.
This table is like the first VEX training ground for developing your driving skills, but is for two robots. The idea is to come first to the final without interfering with the opponent robot.
The GorillaBot walks on its two arms, using two large motors as forearms. It also has this awesome head, which actually is pretty useless as an ultrasonic sensor, unless you lift its eyebrows.
This is a little robot that doesn't like its switch touched. It will return the switch back every time it's touched and react in a variety of ways.
The program for controlling the robot is available at /programs/wc7iqy-program-for-ev3-finger-bot
This is a small VEX IQ truck that have one and only one reason to exist. The reason is to teach students to drive by practising diving with it.There is nothing that makes the Little Truckie happier than driving.
The programs for controling Truckie are at:
Truckie - "Easy" To Drive VEX IQ Program for Modkit. Left stick steers. Right stick moves
Truckie - "Hard" To Drive VEX IQ Program for Modkit. One stick for move and steer
Lintu means bird in finnish.
The robot is made to resemble a Kiwi bird, an endangered species of flightless birds, found only in New Zealand.
Lintu uses two large motors as legs. They are placed at an angle so that they resemble the strange posture of the kiwi bird.
The beak of the robot uses an interesting mechanism to open and close utilizing two technic steering links and a medium motor. For eyes, the robot uses an Ultrasonic sensor.
Susan comes from Sue, which is the name of the largest fully preserved specimen of T-Rexes.
Mark comes from Marc Bolan, who is the lead singer/gutarist of the band T-Rex.
The robot is made to resemble a T-Rex (Susan) chasing a car (Mark).
The T-Rex uses a Large motor to go forward and backward. The other Large motor is used for the car, which resembles a very simple 4-wheel vechicle. Susan's task is to spot Mark using the current power option of the motor rotation sensor. As T-Rexes can not notice you if you are moving very slow, Mark is trying his best to move really slow so that he doesn't get spotted!
Antares is the brightest star in the Scorpius constellation.
The robot's main purpose is to show two different grabbing mechanisms - one vertical and one horizontal. The vertical pincers use a medium motor and the horizontal pincers use a large motor. Additionally the robot has a sting mechanism which uses another large motor. For a head it uses an EV3 ultrasonic sensor. With the sensor, the robot can sense when the prey is close enough for a suprise attack.
Alice is a lovely little bird, with some amazing mechanisms on her feet. It uses two large motors and one medium one as a head, which drives both its wings.
A turtle robot with 2 sensors- ultrasonic and gyro, capable of following her course and navigating through anything. Just don't annoy it, or it will hide in its shell or even come and bite you.
A fearsome and dangerous robot. It will find a place to hide and patiently wait in ambush.
NB! This robot requres bluetooth connectivity, as its USB port is blocked in the construction.
An awesome ski-jet robot, steering with a medium motor and powered by a single large motor. It also has a pair of inclined treads, making it especially well-suited for the harsh winter terrain.
*There is a mistake in this robot you will have to find. How would you make it work?
Do you have some awesome remote controlled racer cars? Have you ever wanted to see which one is faster? Or maybe having a speed race with your homies. You can do all that and much more with this amazing LEGO Mindstorms EV3 radar robot. It will also ring police sirens when you break the speed limit, just know that you're declared WANTED!
An example program for using this robot could be found here.
This is an 8 bar lifting robot. Way should I build this instead of Roberto bot you ask? Because it is... well... it lift thing straight up, it lift 'em higher, it's more beautiful than Roberto and is more bad ass looking than 4 bar lifting mechanism. OOoohhh, and one more thing it may use the same program as Roberto Bot With Four Bars Lifting Mechanism.
The program si at programs/hb5rj8-pesho-bot-with-two-bars-lifting-mechanism-controls-with-modkit.
Building instructions for the Formula 1 Racing Car, built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3. It can turn with the help of a small motor and is driven by two large ones.

A LEGO door with a touch sensor that knows when it's open. It has a stopper and even makes the familiar noise of a creaky door. You can use it by its own or put it in a model of a house.
A nice little robot that can tell if there is anything on top of it. It only uses one touch sensor. The idea of the robot is to be used in classes with students to explore different interesting security options. This robot in particular could detect when the object placed on it gets "stollen". Have you ever watched Indiana Jones? :)
A phone holder that rings an alarm when the phone is picked up. It is a plate, lying on a rubber wheel, that changes its height, based on the weight of the object placed on top. The color sensor detects these changes and rings the alarm. With some fine tuning, this robot can even act as a weighing machine.
