The arrow of the steering block serves the purpose of aiming or controlling the turn of the robot. It has three main states:

1. When it's set to 0 percent, the robot goes forward.

2. When the arrow is set to 50 or -50 percent, only one motor of the robot spins.

3. When the arrow is set to 100 or -100 percent, one motor moves forward and the other moves backward.

All settings apply to backward motion as well. For example setting the arrow to 0 and the power to negative, the robot will move backward.

If the arrow is inbetween any of the values, 20 percent for example, the robot will make an arc.
