The block is located in the Events section. This means that it is only the beginning of the program and no blocks can be placed before it.
By default, this block plays the ones after it when the sensor is pressed. This means that the program will not start until the force sensor is activated.
Its first setting is the port, where we must enter the port our sensor is connected to.
For the more advanced, the second setting can change the release condition of the blocks after it from pressed to hard-pressed, released, pressure changed.
Courses and lessons with this Tutorial
This Tutorial is used in the following courses and lessons
Robotics with LEGO SPIKE Prime - Level A1
The first level of the LEGO robotics curriculum for second, third, and fourth-grade students.
A "space adventure", but with robots. Different robot structures are built in this level. The motors are controlled so that the robots perform precise movements around the "earth", "moon" and "sun". We overcome various obstacles after bumping into them thanks to the force sensor. We learn interesting facts about the solar system and space vehicles.
