Hot Motor Driver and car is not moving

The car is not moving. The Motor Driver is hot. Here is what to check and how to resolve this.

TL. DR.

Problem is 5V from the Motor Driver is connected to GND of the controller. GND of the Driver is connected to 5V of the controller. Carefully check the connections again looking at the specifics of the previous sections.
