This demo course is part of the Learn at Home program with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime. Learn more about the program at Learn at Home with LEGO Education SPIKE Prime. The course contains a few instructions and challenges that everybody could use after registration. It gives you the opportunity to try a couple of the instructions at FLLCasts for FREE and to play with your child for a couple of weeks. After the completion of the Demo course we would direct you the next one.

The goal of this course is to give structure. There are many resources at FLLCasts for other robotics sets and just some of the are about LEGO Education SPIKE Prime. Begin the course and we would help you with some structure of what to build next

In this course, you don't need robots and programming. In this course, students will experiment with physical and chemical concepts, like balance, forces, gravity, inertia, temperature, ratios, and others.

"Keep 'em clean" is a game that uses the players' real-life movement captured by a camera to control many "people" and push them towards a sink where they wash their hands! In this course, you will learn the basics of programming with Scratch, as well as using the "Video Sensing" extension to receive movement from the camera!

An introduction to the SPIKE Prime set! In this course you will have access to 7 3D instructions for SPIKE Prime robots, exploring the possibilities of the base set. After you build them, you can give them life using our cool programs that do various things, from just moving the robot forward, to finding the closest object to it.

After that, if you are up to the challenge, we have prepared some hard additional tasks. They aim to make you research solutions for modifications to the program and the robot. Of course, you can always make your own additions to the robots and have fun with it!

This course contains 8 'robots'. Students at the age of 5-7 are introduced to their first constructions and first programs. We've prepared 8 different building instructions of fun, engaging and interesting constructions with simple, but yet meaningful programs. All the models could be built with LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 Core Set 45300

This will be the second version of the course book, "A robot a 'day' keeps the question awake". Currently it is a pre-released. Which means that we are working on it and will release it soon.

1. Build one robot each day; 

2. download a ready program;

3. complete three challenges.

The robots, programs and tasks are designed to be used by the student on their own with a really little help from their parents.

Get a shiny RGB LED-strip. Connect it to a power supply and smart computer like Raspberry Pi, and you'll have your own playground. Create your own games with your unique rules in only one dimesnion. Play.  

That's the second part of our perfect course. You move through the content, we check it and return feedback to you. 

In the end, you should be able to program and design 1D games that make your games more interesting than ever. For everybody age 12+, 16+, 21+, 35+, etc

"How to use the LEGO robots to facilitate the learning of robotics by my student at home" or simply put - "what to build now?"

After enrolling in this course we will send you a few (1-2-3) emails each month with a title "A robot a 'day'". Each email contains a robot building instructions and/or video tutorials and/or tasks that should be accomplished. After a task is accomplished we might sometimes ask for a video or picture.

This process gives a structure of the learning process where you can learn from the content. The student participates in a course, but from home and on the schedule that you decide.

Disassemble a remote control car. Change the brain of the car with a smart computer like Raspberry Pi. Build a smart device with artificial intelligence that you could control from your phone and that could freely navigate itself in the real world and on the Internet. Use your hands. Develop programs for your robot and your phone. Be curious and invent. 

The perfect course lives up to its name. You move through the content, we check it and return feedback to you. 

In the end, you should be able to better understand how to program and design smart devices that would make the world a better place. For everybody age 12+, 16+, 21+, 35+, etc. The hardware costs about 150$. It changes through the years so it might take some time for you to find it as Raspberry PI, motor drivers, power banks and h-bridges.. they change. Note that the course was designed to be led by a teacher with a decent knowledge in embedded hardware and software. This, on the other hand should not stop you, if you are curious.

The things that you will be able to do with your EV3 robot by the end of this course are:

Freely move your robot towards desired target;
Avoid obstacles on the path of your robot using sensors;
Follow lines of any shape;
Detecting and picking up objects of any kind;

Robotics is great. Mindstorms are great. But for a student to take the next step he or she needs to take a step back, learn what's 'below' and from there discover what would be 'above'. 

So we, the content creators at FLLCasts, in order to teach the world of electronics and prepare the next generation of creators from the youngest age, by presenting knowledge, asking questions and searching for the answers of these questions, are building this course for basic electronics with Arduino, that we call "Starting with Electronics and Arduino".

This course is designed for students, mentors and teachers that are completely new to LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robots and would like to start using them to learn, in classes or at competitions. It is quite different from previously built resources at FLLCasts because it makes no assumption on any previous knowledge and tries to introduce everything step-by-step.
