In this video tutorial the Chain Monster box robot accomplishes a mission that requires two actions. We should lift up (lever) and push almost at the same time on the mission model for it to release the batteries. These mission model is from the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 SUPER POWERED competition.

In this video tutorial, we accomplish M10 Power Plant with the Chain Monster box robot. We show you how we get to the mission model and how we align. Now, we have to lift this part of the attachment. Then, we have to push down on a different part. And then, you see the three energy units: they go all in different directions. The challenge of this mission is: How do we collect them? Here is a close-up. The robot approaches the mission model, aligns with the line, and it collects. It collects two of the energy units, and the third one is in the base. I'll view it from a different angle. We want you to see the details of how exactly the attachment works. And we collect. With the two containers, we collect the two energy units. It is also worth it to do a really close-up view of how the attachment works. We approach the mission model, and we have a lever, and we lift with this lever. In this way, we unlock the power plant. Then we move forward. And you can see these beams that are aligned in such a way that when we move forward with the robot, they push on the mission model, and we unlock it. We collect the two energy units, and we go back to base.

FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 Super Powered solutions and review with Chain Monster box robot from LEGO Education SPIKE Prime
In this course, we demonstrate and explain example solutions for the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023 Super Powered competition. Every year, we share our solutions and our comments only after the season is over. The course is centred around MULTIPLE MISSIONS in a single run which is unique. We see runs with 3, 4 and even 5 missions. Then we enter into details around accomplishing the specific missions. You can follow the course, and as you go through each mission, try to replicate the solutions to understand the programs and explanations. This teaches students and teachers the principles of accomplishing missions in every FLL robotics competition and how to help your team score more points.
Before starting this course, we suggest you go through the FIRST LEGO League robot game guide
There is an additional course that does a review for the same competition but with a different robot - the Kriket box robots. It present other principles of building attachments and shows different examples. Check out the other course also.
