As always, we want our robotics classes to have added value. Use the opportunity to discuss what minerals are. Tell your students that minerals are various liquids and solids which could be found on the earth’s surface and beneath. Minerals are often used for the production of basic everyday stuff.
Ask the class about the types of minerals they know. For example, oil, natural gas, coal, metals, gypsum, stone salt. What mineral resources are extracted in your country?
