In this video tutorial we continue the exploration of pinless attachments and how to add them and remove them in a quick fashion. We've done this for SPIKE Prime and for EV3 and we will provide some other references in the lesson in the course. The idea of an attachment below the robot is that sometime, during FIRST LEGO League competitions we have to bring a mission model from one place of the field to other. Basically push it.

When pushing a mission model or a part from one place to another on the field we should not lose the mission model. We need an attachment. One of the fastest ways to add an attachment is to place the robot over an attachment. It is quick and gets the job done.
Tasks to complete after this tutorial
Go on, explore it. Build the attachment and the robot. Both the attachment and the robot could be build from a single LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor 51515 set. You don't need any additional parts. Build the attachment, the mission model and try to bring the mission model to specific places on the field.

FIRST LEGO League with LEGO Mindstorms Robot Inventor. "Challenge" competition for 9-16 years old
The goal of this course is to take you through some of the most useful principles for building and using attachments to accomplish missions at FIRST LEGO League competitions. The whole course is based on a LEGO MINDSTORMS Robot Inventor and you need a single 51515 set and without additional parts (you will need a second color sensor for the lessons for using two color sensors, but feel free to skip them if you don't have it). For every mission there is a Scratch and Python program attachment. The course consists of 25 lessons suitable for beginner and advanced students. Every lessons consists of a video tutorial demonstrating the principle and how the mission could be accomplished along with building instructions for the robot, the attachment and programs for controlling the robot.

Quick Pinless attachments below a robot
This is an animation of a quick pinless attachment that is placed below the robot and is used to deliver parts, like the Container Mission model, to different parts of the field. In the live video in the lesson we explain more about the principles, while here in the animation you can get a quick overview of how it works and you can try to follow the same principles for an exercise.
