Gazon, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot

The story goes like this. Two engineers meet at a bar (or on discord during the pandemic) discussing which robot to use for this year's FIRST LEGO League 2020 Replay Solution and Review with explanations. They started their cameras, had a hot Carolina Reaper, had an argument, hugged each other, and decided to build Gazon, and use this new robot for the competition. So here it is. Small, 4 motors, 2 color sensors, stable, light.

This video tutorial is about how to accomplish the Rowing Machine mission in the FIRST LEGO League 2021 RePlay robotics competition. The Rowing machine mission model consists of a wheel that should be pushed or pulled and will lift two other wheels, just like a real Rowing Machine. What you will get from this tutorial is an example of how to build a robot that is very precise. The attachment is simple, but the programming is more difficult. M09. Train Tracks - 100% consistent behavior with more sensors

This tutorial explains the use of motion and light/color sensors to accomplish a complex mission split into three parts. It gets into detail about how we keep a straight line with the motion sensor, follow a line with the color sensors, and transition between different parts of the program by aligning and detecting lines with the sensor. The goal is to get to a reliable and consistent behavior of the robot. M05. Flip a switch - Switch Engine mission

This video tutorial demonstrates an attachment that flips a mission model. The mission model is attached to the field, but it contains a lever. This lever must be flipped from one side to the other. There is a switch. We use a pinless active attachment with gear wheels, and you can see how this works in the tutorial. There is no use of sensors as we don't need them. We will leave the alignment and positioning for some other tutorials.

In this video tutorial, we use the Unload Cargo Ship mission from FIRST LEGO League 2021 Cargo Connect robotics competition to demonstrate how we program the robot to keep a straight line while moving. In this video tutorial, we carry, deliver and drop a large object with an attachment that is much more stable than the basic. We get out of the base, and we actually carry the model. This attachment is also auto-correcting as it has a guiding beam at the front, and even when the robot makes a mistake, we can successfully accomplish the mission.

M06. Accident Avoidance

In this video tutorial, we demonstrate how to gently push an object to accomplish the mission. "Gently" means that we are pushing but not with force. If we push using force, the mission model will fall, and we will not accomplish the mission. We use LEGO Education SPIKE Prime and the Ultrasonic Sensor.
