Building instruction for the power switch mission model. The model is used in the Power supply mission of FLLCasts Off-season Challenge 2019.

This is a Material supplementing the Instructors training course. Attached is our methodology for working with students. If you spend some time to read it beforehand, we can discuss only the questions that you have, instead of listening to the whole thing. That will be a more efficient usage of our time in the training. 

This is a disk image containing a Raspbian OS. The image is modified and set up specifically for the Perfect course. It contains all the needed files, libraries and additional tools that we would use in the course. The file is quite large so be prepared to wait some time while downloading.

This attachment for the Nautiq robot is designed for missions M13 Coral Reef, M12 Raise the Coral, and M09 Release the Shark from the FIRST LEGO League 2024-2025 SUBMERGED competition. It features a passive mechanical trigger that releases a lever powered by a rubber band. A passive curtain mechanism is included for collecting parts from the field. The attachment is optimized for quick and reliable mission execution without additional motors.

This is a LEGO Education SPIKE Prime robot attachment for accomplishing the FIRST LEGO League 2020 Replay Basketball mission and it is the second attachment for this mission. The attachment is designed for Gazon, LEGO Education SPIKE Prime competition robot.

We've deprecated it because we build a better attachment

This robot may look a bit unusual. Can you guess why? The motors are placed in opposite directions - one faces forward, while the other faces backward. This means that if both motors are set to move forward, the robot will spin in place!

To make the robot move forward, one motor must turn forward while the other turns backward.

The purpose of this robot is to show that motors can be placed in different ways. They do not always face the same direction, and this must be taken into account when programming.

This is the joystick for controlling Real Steel LEGO Boxing Robot. We use the bluetooth connection for communication between the two bricks. 

Background

The chance of a “serious” meteoroid hitting earth in our lifetime is extremely low, but it’s not zero, and the devastation could truly wipe us out. How will scientists and engineers keep us safe?

Mission

From west of the free-line, send one or both meteoroids independently to the meteoroid catcher. “Independently”: see also M01, Section “Scoring Requirements”.

Scores

• Meteoroid(s) touch(es) the mat in the centre section of the meteoroid catcher: 12 each
• Meteoroid(s) touch(es) the mat in either side section of the meteoroid catcher: 8 each
• Possible scores: 0, 8, 12, 16, 20, 24

Scoring Requirements

• The result must be visible at the end of the match.
• The meteoroids need to be sent over the free-line to touch the mat in the meteoroid catcher > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• The meteoroids must be hit/released while they are clearly and completely west of the free-line. > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• While between hit/release and scoring position, the meteoroid must be clearly independent. > Only allowed method. Must be observed by the referee.
• If ever the ring-set meteoroid is off its ring, you may remove the ring from the field by hand. This is a special exception to the rules.

Advanced LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3 Construction. It has two rear motors and it could rotate the whole from part. It has 4 wheels and is kind of like unique in the Mindstorms world.

Building instructions are not very easy and you need LEGO Education Core and Extension Sets - 45544 and 45560. 

Apart from being advanced, it is also quite fun to try to build.

This attachment is accomplishing three missions and partly two more missions from the FIRST LEGO League 2022-2023. It is for the Chain Monster robot

The robot's name comes from the Hungarian word megállíthatatlan which means "unstoppable."

This robot is made to go infinitely around the room. The force sensor in front of it, combined with the shield, helps it detect whenever it has collided with something and then turn! Can you make it unstoppable?

We use this attachment to demonstrate the principle of an active attachment. This is an attachment activated from the motor. It has one level attached to it. It could be reused. The attachment transfers power from the motor to the end of the lever and we can accomplish missions like the Power Switch mission from the FLLCasts Off-season mission models.

The name of the game? Football!

This Kick the ball attachment for Tricky - the Mindstorms 51515 Robot Inventor smallest robot - is one of our favorites. Imagine a LEGO robot playing football. It is dribbling through the center of the field, it enters the box, it strikes and... goooooooal. What a fun game to play at home, if you decide to build Tricky with this kicking attachment. Aptly named for it’s “trick shots” with the included Mindstorms/Duplo ball. After you're ready with the construction of this robot, you'll find the instructions for building the goal frame below.
