Building Instructions

Probably the largest multi-purpose FLL attachment at FLLCasts. These attached is doing a number of missions at once. 4 of them. You attach it to the robot and start the program. The robot moves and accomplishes a number of missions using only this attachment. At it also has a lot of parts. It is quite large and you can not build it from a single set. But that's ok because you are preparing for a competition, right?

We love bears. These are great creatures. Do you know that the Polar Bear is the largest bear there is. 

This robot was first constructed years ago for some of the first classes in LEGO Mindstorms Robotics that we held. It is quite challenging, but nevertheless very rewarding when completed and when you manage to program it to walk. Check it out. 

These are building instructions for an attachment accomplishing the FIRST LEGO League 2017-2018 Slingshot mission. The based of the robot is LEGO Box Robot Three With Large Wheels and Thee light sensors and one Gyro

Two missions in one. This attachment accomplishes the Hydrodynamics Fountain and Faucet missions from the FIRST LEGO League Hydrodynamics 2017-2018 competitions. The attachment shows a really interesting and widely used approach of a single attachment that is used for two, three and even more missions. This is a standard practice for many of the advanced teams, especially those that reach the finals. The based of the robot is the LEGO Box Robot Three With Large Wheels and Thee light sensors and one Gyro 

Winter might be far away or it might just be coming - depending of course on where you are in the world. But you can always spend a few hours having fun with a LEGO Mindstorms Snowmobile. A really challenging construction that requires good preparation, concentration and a lot of efforts to complete. Same is going to the mountain in the winter. But the reward at the end is worth it. 

We have to admit. This is quite an interesting missions. There is a Manhole cover and it must be turned upside down. Well, the robot must turn it. Again LEGO Box Robot Three With Large Wheels and Thee light sensors and one Gyro is used as a base for the Robot.

We love tanks. You love tanks. Everybody loves tanks. Well, not exactly - more like everybody loves machines with chain treads because they are interesting, not that common, very easy to build and could tackle a lot of obstacles.

Building instructions for a LEGO Truck. The robot is presented as an Ammo Truck but it can be used for transporting various other objects, too. The construction has a rear drive with each of the rear wheels driven by a Large Lego Motor. The front wheels steer using a Medium Lego Motor. The Brick is placed at the front of the construction which gives the opportunity to easily attach different sensors, based on the task. 

Let's go fast. Large wheels on the back. A lot of torque, small wheels on the front, good aerodynamics. Here we go.

Building instructions for a LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Motorcycle, but this time with helper wheels. The helper wheels solve the problem of making turns with the robot. If the robot loses balance it will fall. The goal of the helper wheels is to make it easier for the robot to turn. Small modification, but really make a difference. 

The new Spy is a robot with tank treads, which uses one medium motor to turn three things at once. That is achieved by a gear system. Simultaneously the robot turns its two hands up and down, but in opposite directions and its head - left and right.

The robot moves with the help of two tank treads, attached to two Large EV3 Motors.

Instructions for building a LEGO truck. We use a medium motor for steering and a large motor for driving one of the rear wheels.

Building instructions for a LEGO EV3 Robo-tank. The construction is incredibly simple, with an upright Brick, which makes it perfectly suitable for lessons with students.

This robot is for learning at home when you have time and energy. It is like having a motorcycle on your own - you spend a lot of time working on your motorcycle, you love it, it takes care, it takes patience. This robot has 300 steps in the building instructions. We've heard a lot of parents with students telling stories how their student could build anything from LEGO on their own. This motorcycle with a cart surely would be a challenge for them. "You need to step on three points to be stable". This is something you could directly see after building this marvellous, 270+ steps, extremely interesting Motorcycle with a side cart. Yes, we are proud of it. The robot is suitable for using it at home. The instructions for building it contain more than 270+ steps so it is a test for endurance, concentration, passion. The same way driving a motorcycle is. 

Or you could just step into the cart, drive along and enjoy the view while someone else is building the robot. Like a sibling or a parent.

It's fast. It's on two wheels. It's a motorcycle. And this one is built from LEGO Mindstorms EV3 sets with the use of one additional Medium Motor. If you have two medium motors, great. If you don't have you can build the  Handlebar - Chopper Motorcycle built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3, because it uses one large and one medium motor that are available in any EV3 set.

Currently, the motorcycle has no sensors. It's more of an exercise in construction, but if you attach sensors and think of a way to attach them send us a picture.

Take a motorcycle and start removing parts. You get a chopper. Like this one. It is built with LEGO Mindstorms EV3. It has one large and one medium motor. Building instructions for probably the simplest LEGO Mindstorms EV3 Motorcycle that you could think of. Can you think of a simpler? Build it and send it to us.

The motorcycle has one large and one medium motor. Turns are hard, but we will think of solutions for turns. There are also other motorcycles, more complex ones that you could build

This robot is part of the category of robots called animals. After following the building instructions you would have a frog that could jump. Of course, the jump depends on the surface and the friction between the robot and the ground... quite complex physics involved. But if you program it to move forward it will try to jump and it is your job to try to make it jump higher. 

You could try to extend some of the legs, for example.
