### Why do we do that challenge

With this challenge, students will have to do arc turns and will have to adjust the power of individual motors.

### What are we going to learn

We will introduce the Move Tank programming block.

### How to conduct the competition in a classroom

Always measure the time of each robot with a clock.
Robots must start individually, one by one, not all robots at once.
You can have the pole far away from the starting position.

### Students must take turns

You must teach your students to respect a queue and to return the pole at its position if *their* robot happens to displace it.

A few notes for the teacher when doing the competition for turning around the pole.

Why are we doing this competition? It's a very good demonstration for doing turns with the robot for turning and for adjusting power. Power to the motors. And how are we going to demonstrate this? We'll use the tank block. And it's one of the blocks with which you can control the movements of the robot and our specific task is a competition. For this competition there are a couple of important things. First, always try to measure with a clock the exact time of the students. Then on the camera you can see that we'll do the turn from a very short distance because we don't have that much space that we can record with the camera but in your classroom you can have the pole at about a meter from the robot or even 2 meters. You can experiment based on the space that you have but 50 cm to a meter is a good distance for the pole. Again, you won't see it on the camera because we don't have the space here but you can do it when you do the competition. Then when the students are starting the robots they should learn to take turns. Don't start the robots at the same time. It's kind of a common sense. And that's the most important thing for the competition. Again, we'll just present the task for the competition and we'll leave the students experiment with this task and only after they experiment for a few minutes we'll continue with actually presenting a solution for this task and doing the theory and a few programs.
